Bush-whacked (adj.) Severely damaged due to malign larceny disguised as incompetence. Also, "Bushed".
The global economy is, in January 2009, Bush-whacked. Two incompetent wars and a series of financial bubbles gave the friends of the political elite opportunity to empty the treasury, separate the US middle classes from their savings, and load much of the world with the resulting debt.
